Sony Ericsson’s new headquarters for its business in North and Latin America will open in Atlanta in July, increasing the company’s workforce here from about 30 to 180. The London-based wireless handset company announced it was moving the region’s headquarters from North Carolina’s Research Triangle area last fall, but had no job numbers at the time. The company’s biggest customer is AT&T, which has its wireless business based here. The new headquarters will be at Buckhead’s Terminus 200 building.
