The company is setting up an IT service hub at its Renfrewshire facility with the help of £7m in government funding.
Last year HP announced it was cutting 700 manufacturing jobs at the plant and transferring the work to the Czech Republic.
These jobs will be gone by October but the new posts should see the plant back to employing about 1,300 people.
