The Tucson area is in line to get 400 to 500 new local biotech jobs, with a major announcement expected in the next couple of weeks, the head of the region’s main economic-development agency said Friday.
The jobs will have an average salary of about $75,000, Joe Snell, president and CEO of Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities Inc., said at TREO’s annual luncheon at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa.
