Hamilton is about to get a bit more steel and 50 new jobs.

The Pembroke firm Pemco, an integrated metal company, announced yesterday that it’s not only expanding into Hamilton but also shifting its corporate offices into the city from Brampton.

The company, which distributes steel and related metal products in Ontario and Quebec, will see its executive management, sales, business development, and procurement groups move into a 35,000-square-foot plant at 1632 Burlington St., on Nov. 1.
